Nokia Observation Camera Mobile Security System

Nokia have developed an observation camera with a built in phone which can be used for Remote Security.

Valloria have, with partners, developed a system to turn the camera into a full security system. The new camera phone can take pictures in remote sites, on command from a central computer and/or when movement triggers the device and then transmit these pictures over the mobile network. Pictures can be retrieved within 40 seconds by bypassing the Operator's central site. Typical uses are for security on building sites or temporary premises, mobile transport security and health and safety investigations. These cameras can be mounted virtually anywhere, without wiring and within minutes. They work on command, heat, sound and movement and work both day and night. Pictures will be transmitted to a central server over a secure network and recorded for future analysis.
